Please Describe Your Role at ReportOUT?
I work with the events team to plan and execute a range of events for ReportOUT (online due to the pandemic ).
Describe yourself in three words
Driven, friendly, outgoing.
What is your background?
I am currently studying for my degree in Events Management at The University of Sunderland. I previously attended City of Glasgow college for Events Management.
What Impact has your role had on the charity?
My role means we are able to put on events for the public and spread awareness on a variety of topics.
What is one thing you aim to achieve for the charity this year?
I want to start doing paid for events as well as gain sponsorship from a variety of companies and organisations relevant to ReportOUT.
List one personal achievement you want to accomplish as a result of being part of the charity.
Gain more confidence.
What is your personal view about global Sexual And/Or Gender Minority issues?
I cannot provide an exact view yet but I am trying to learn more and expand my knowledge.
What is the best advice you have been given?
To be myself.
What is the best advice you would give to a young LGBTQI+ young person?
To be yourself and to be confident.
What other hobbies and interests do you have?
I love to read, I enjoy going home ( when I can ) and seeing my family. I love to travel.
Who inspires you and why?
Honestly Drew, he’s so busy and has so much on his plate but always manages to give 110% to everything he does. He really cares about everything he takes on.
